This is Chief! He was bred by Liz Calikes and the late David Bradley at
Newlin Beagles. He has been DNA tested CLEAR (N/N) for MLS.
He competes in agility at Grade 6 and has his Agility Warrant Bronze award. But we also dabble in the show-ring too where he does not badly and has his Show Certificate of Merit. Chief has also passed his KC Good Citizen Bronze. He trains in agility with Auchinlay Agility Group and is part of the display team.
However, Beagle's are not the easiest breed to train as they've been bred for 100's of years to think for themselves. They are very smart, but tend to focus on whatever they think is important at the time. And you will have a hard time convincing them otherwise! This makes training even more rewarding when they do work well.
